My experience with Maybelline Fit me Loose Finishing Powder:
I have a warm undertone and a medium skin tone. So I purchased shade 20 Light/Medium.
I had a fabulous experience with it. This loose powder is finely milled. And has absolutely no fragrance in it which will be a bonus point for people with a sensitive nose. This blends well with my skin providing me good coverage without creasing.
This powder gives a matte look on my face with a hint of peachy tint. As far as its claim is concerned to control shine and smooth skin’s texture. I believe it lives up to its claim wonderfully. It blurs the pores and provides a smooth skin texture.
This loose setting powder can certainly be used to bake eye makeup. It stays up to 6 hours which is quite enough. Even after hours, I do not find any creases on my face.
This powder is truly lightweight. It doesn’t make my skin feel heavy. It’s so lightweight that I don’t feel like I have applied powder.
I have a dry skin type. Usually, after applying powder I see a few dry patches on my face. But this is not the case with this powder. It gives me a flawless finish.
The only thing I wish it had is an applicator. It comes without an applicator. But that is totally fine with me. I have my own brush to blend.
This powder gives a natural yet so beautiful look. It’s love. Indeed it was a good purchase for me.
Pros:
- It provides good coverage.
- Gives a fresh and natural look.
- This blurs pores and provides smooth and even skin.
- Lightweight
- Long-lasting
- Gives a matte finish
- Non-creasing
- It can be used to bake your makeup.
Cons:
- The price is a little high.
- Packaging may be an issue at first. If the box gets tilted in the bag then more than the required amount of powder gets collected on the strainer. Though it will not spill.
- Comes without an applicator.
My ratings:
On a scale of 1 to 5. I would rate this 4.5.
