How To Do Brown Smokey Eye In Easy Steps
Step 1: Prep The Base
The first and foremost thing is to prep the base. Place a tape from the outer corner of your eye in an upward direction that extends till your brows. You can easily skip placing the tape. However using tape ensures a pointy, sharp, and crisp eyeshadow look. For a smooth canvas apply concealer over your eyelids. However, this step is completely optional.
Note: Before placing the tape near the eyes make sure you reduce the stickiness of the tape by sticking it on your hand first and lifting it off at least twice.

Step 2: Choose A Dark Brown Shade As A Transition Color
Now it’s time to choose a transitional shade, a darker brown shade for this look. Swirl your brush into the darker brown shade and apply it to the crease area blending it in circular motions. Also, blend it alongside the tape. Do not fret, if your eyeshadow diffuses on your tape. Once you take off the tape you will get immaculate looking on point eyeshadow. Be certain that you do not blend it on your eyelids, just keep building the shade on the crease area and alongside the tape. Remember, the key to nailing any eyeshadow look is blending and lots of blending. I am using the Makeup Revolution Creative Volume 1 Eyeshadow Palette shade Epitome for this look.

Step 3: Diffuse A Light Brown Shade On The Eyelids
Now pick a shimmery or glitter brown shade or any brown shade, which should have a lighter hue as compared to your transitional shade. The natural brown shade will also amp up the look. Diffuse it on your eyelids in back-and-forth wiper motion. I am using the Makeup Revolution Creative Volume 1 Eyeshadow Palette shade Prize for creating this look.
Step 4: Line Your Upper Lash Line And Lower Lash Line
Dab some black eyeshadow on your brush, and smudge it around the upper lash line creating a thin smudgy black line giving a smokey effect. Take off the tape.
Line your lower lash line with black eyeshadow and smudge it. Now, take the darker brown shade and smudge that below the black eyeshadow of the lower lash line.
Note: Instead of black eyeshadow you can use a black eyeliner pencil, line both your upper and lower lash line with a black eyeliner pencil, and smudge it using a brush.
Step 5: Finish Of The Brown Smokey Eye With Mascara
Now, curl your eyelashes with a curler and apply some mascara. If you covet false lashes look, carefully place them over your real lashes, and complete the brown smokey eye look. Bravo! You’re done. Wasn’t that easy breezy?
